Throwaway Ponies

raised to feed horses at Throwaway
Ponies. There are two recycle bins
located behind Bander Family
Medical Clinic, on the south side of
Brookshire's on Hwy. 78.
According to Karen Bander of
Throwaway Ponies, if each bin is
filled each month, the funds will
feed two horses for a month (one
horse for each bin).
Throwaway Ponies is a non-profit
horse rescue located in Row lett. Its
motto is "Helping Horses, Healing
Hearts."
"Not only are horses helped by
providing them a new home, but
people are also helped," Bander
said. "Throwaway Ponies provides
equine-assisted psychotherapy
and/or equine-assisted learning for
women and children who have been
abused, neglected or assaulted."
