A growing Emergency Department
for a growing community.
Baylor Medical Center at Garland is undertaking a $10.5 million expansion of our Emergency
Department, to give Garland and the surrounding communities an expanded, improved and
streamlined facility. We're increasing the number of treatment rooms, expanding waiting areas
and providing more services to make the department more efficient.
Phase II of our expansion project is complete and the Emergency Department entrance has
moved back to the east side of the medical center Although our expansion project won't be
complete until summer 2010. patients and visitors now have access to a beautiful new lobby,
check-in area and medical exam rooms
At the Baylor Garland Emergency Department, we're working hard to remain what we've been
for years: the pulse of our community
