The Ormer Locklear Archives

Ormer Locklear was a Texas native who joined the United Army Air Service during World War I and learned to fly in Fort Worth. His brief career saw him perform as a barnstormer then as an actor in two feature movies, with a stunt in the latter resulting in his death. These materials portray Locklear, his friends and family, his stunt flying, his movie work, and his funeral.
