Block & Little Offer a Remedy for
Catarrh. The Medicine Costs
Nothing if It Fails.
When a medicine effects a suc-
cessful treatment in a very large
majority of cases, and when we
offer that medicine on our own
personal guarantee that it will
cost the user nothing if it does
not completely relieve catarrh, it
is only reasonable that people
should believe us, or at least put
our claim to a practical test when
we take all the risk. These are
facts which we want the people
to substantiate. We want them
to try Rexall Mucu-Tone, a med-
icine prepared from a prescrip-
tion of a phssician with whom
catarrh was a specialty, and who
has a record of thirty years of
enviable success to his record.
We receive more good reports
about Rexall Mucu-Tone than we
do of all other ctarrh remedies
sold in our store, and if more
people only knew what- a thor-
oughly dependable remedy Rex-
all Mucu-Tone is, it would-.be the
only catarrh remedy we would
have any demand for.
Rexall Mucu-Tone is quickly
absorbed and by its therapeutic
effect tends to disinfect and
cleanse the entire mucous mem-
braneous tract, to destroy and
remove the parasites which in-
jure the membroneous tissues, to
soothe the irritation and heal the
soreness, stop the mucous dis-
charge, build up strong, healthy
tissue and relieve the blood and
and system of diseased matter.
Its influence is toward stimulat-
ing the muco-cells, aiding diges-
tion and improving nutrition un-
til the whole body vibrates with
healthy activity. In a compara-
tively short time it brings about
a noticeable gain in weight,
strength, good color and feeling
of buoyancy.
We urge you to try Rexall
Mucu-Tone, beginning a treat-
ment today. At any time you
are not satisfied, simply come
and tell us, and we will quickly
return your money without ques-
tion or quibble. We have Rexall
Muco-Tone in two sizes, 50 cents
and $1.00. Remember you can
obtain Rexall Remedies in Honey
Grove only at our store,—The
Rexall Store. Black & Little.
Many a Mother in Honey Grove Will
Appreciate the Following.
Many a strong man and many
a healthy woman has much for
which to thank mother. The
care taken during their childhood
brought them past the danger
point and made them healthy
men and women. Children are
generally bothered at some pe-
riod with incontinuance of urine,
and inability to retain it is oft
times called a habit. It is not
the children's fault—the diffi-
culty lies with the kidneys, and
can be readily righted if taken
in the proper way. Read the
following:
Mrs. A. Bates, 309 Bray St..
Bonham, Texas, says:^ "My
eleven year old daughter was
greatly benefitted by Doan's
Kidney Pills. When she was as
infant, she had trouble from her
kidneys. I consulted a physician
regarding her case, but he failec
to check the difficulty. Learning
of Doan's Kidney Pills, I pro-
cured a box and gave them to
the child. They helped her a
great deal, trengthening her
kidneys and toning up her sys
tem.

To Have Another Election.
At a mass meeting of the citi-
zens of Petty last Saturday after-
noon it was decided to have an-
other school election to organize
an independent school district
and to vote $10,000 or $12,000
worth of bonds to erect a new
school building. At an election
held about two months ago a
similar proposition was defeated,
but those who favored it were
not satisfied with the result, and
on investigation it was found
that by making a few slight
changes in the proposed metes
and bounds another election
could be held right away. A
committee was appointed to mark
off the metes and bounds.

Capricorn, which will give the I
trusts the ball on our five-yard i
ine, one down to go. They will
go over on the next play, and Mr.
Rockefeller, who is playing,
greenback for the trusts this
year, will kick goal. h feature
of Chr;&tn.c s w.ii be that Mr.
Roosevelt won t have any. He
isn't taking any chances of Santa
Claus even handing him any-
thing else this year.
Our Mr. Morgan will revert
To hanging up his spacious shirt,
And tying up the tail to pot
Whatever Santa Claus has got.
O woe is us! How tough it is
To hang our stockings under his!
But faith is hope, and hope is trust,
And some fine day the tail will bust.
As many things have bust be-
fore, and bingo! on the parlor j
floor will go the Christmas odds .
and ends with which his catch-!
'em-all distends. The costly j
presents and the rare, and while j
while we grab here and there for j
each his share of it and mirth of j
Santa Claus will fill the earth.
Those merry peals which rouse
the dead will wake the echoes
overhead, and laughter flavored
with reproof reverberate around
the roof. He never meant we
should pervert the day with
hanging up our shirt, nor ever
thought, by any chance, of filling
Rockefeller's pants.
A sockful each is all there is,
and woe to him who takes for
his a greater portion, hook or
crook, than each originally took.
For each person that desends to
tying pants around the ends, and
closing shirts around the base
there is a reckoning to face.
The laws of Santa Claus are
good, and in the end are what
we would desire they were—that
is to say that this is everybody's
day. A single sock above the
fire is all a body should require,
and there before the glowing log
nobody keen to be a hog.
In such a spirit was it said
that all days are to get ahead
except this one, which was de-
signed for anyone to get behind.
The merry holdays will come,
and Santa, sliding on his turn,
will belly buster to the gate, and
do his best, at any rate.
What remains of Congress will
exchange experiences at Wash-
ington during the month, and the
man who sends Mr. Taft the
biggest Christmas turkey will
get a good outside job around the
White House.
Then January will behere
To cheer us now and then,
And in the glad and new-born year
We'll all swear off again.

Girl Tells How a Blotchy Skin Was
Cleansed by a Simple Wasb.
"I was ashamed of my face,"
writes Miss Minnie Pickard of
Althamahaw, N. C. "It was all
full of pimples and scars, but
after using D. D. D. Prescription
I can say that now there is no
sign of that Eczema, and that
was three years ago."
D. D. D. has become so famous
as a cure and instant relief in
Eczema and all other serious
skin diseases, that its value is
sometimes overlooked in clearing
up rash, pimples, blackheads,
and all other minor forms of
skin impurities.
The fact is, that while D. D. D.
is so penetrating that it strikes
to the very root of Eczema or
any other serious trouble, the
soothing Oil o f Wintergreen,
Thymol and other ingredients
are so carefully compounded
there is no wash for the skin
made that can compare with this
great household remedy for
every kind of skin trouble.
D. D. D. is pleasant to use,
perfectly harmless to the most
delicate skin, and ^absolutely
reliable. A 25 cent bottle will
give you positive proof o f the
wonderful effectiveness of this
great remedy.—Black & Little.
Fires Million Bullets An Hour.
A gun that, its inventor says,
can shoot a million bullets an
hour at a cost of $20; that uses
neither powder nor compressed
air, and that fires bullets that do
not require shells, was shot for
the enlightenment of a delega-
tion of New York reporters. The
reporters saw the gun shoot, but
they were not permitted to see
that part of the gun out of which
the little steel bullets came with
such rapidity.
A Swiss named Bangerter was
introduced as the inventor. In
order that the secret should be
maintained, that part of the
mechanism that it is said causes j
the rapid shooting was covered j
with oilcloth. Only the motor;
that operates the gun and the
little bucket-like receptacles into
which the bullets . are poured by
the quart were visible to the re-
porters.
But Mr. Bangerter and his as-
sociates refused to say anything
about what was under the oil
cloth in the little gunroom. They
did give out a typewritten state-
ment, however, saying that one
of these guns "could face an
army of thirty regiments of sol-
diers or 30,00Q men, and could
mow down that entire body of
men as easy as a knife cuts the
grass. There is no earthly pos-
sibility for any army to success-
fully face the fire from a gun of
this kind which pours a veritable
hailstorm of bullets into the at-
tacking forces, who must either
sacrifice their lives or turn in
retreat."—Ex.

Biggest Fish Ever Captured.

two, and spliced after the man-
ner of a wagon when it is to re-
ceive a load of lumber or long
timbers, and upon this vessel the
mounted whale was spread its
entire length of 78 feet, his eyes
sparkling as they did in life and
the great body in every way art-
ificially made in the likeness of
the whale when it ventured too
far on that fatal day when it
grounded on the sands of Sabine
Pass. The first exhibit occurred
at Houston during the Baptist
convention, and the visitors who
thronged to see it during the con-
vention and the Carnival follow-
ing numbered during this month
243,000. Out of this little crowd
of visitors enough money was ex-
tracted to pay for the mounting
and leave the o\fl*ier a handsome
fortune. Preparations are now
being made to tow the whale
around to New Orleans and after
exibiting there to float on slowly
up the Mississippi, and across to
the Great Lakes and by the Erie
canal to New York, and then
work on down the Atlantic coast.
When Capt. Plummer gets back
to Texas with his whale he will
be worth two or three million
dollars, for everybody goes to see
the whale who has a chance.
During its stay in Houston,
Mr. Lacy says, a luncheon was
given inside the whale which 14
persons attended upon invitation.
Tables were placed in the roomy
interior of the monster, and a
light luncheon with refreshments
served. The only odorVas from
the cigars and the eatables. Not
a vestige of any discomforting
smell could be found by the vis-
itors, who "whiffed and sniffed"
every section of the mammal.
The visitors inspected every side
from two decks, and then entered
the whale through its mouth,
stepping carefully between his
teeth* Exit was through a door
in one side. The interior could
accomodate seventy-five persons
standing, and 50 more could be
tucked away in close quarters.
Alongside the whale are the
huge bones. The skull bone,
from which thirty barrels of
sperm oil were taken, is shown
complete, It weighs over three
tons and is the largest one piece
bone on exhibition anywhere.
The seventeen feet, six inch jaw-
bones are shown. Tom Lacy
brought home with him a piece
of the hide of this whale and ex-
hibits it to his friends to sorter
bolster up his tale. But Tom has
