- We were honored with a visit by Rev. A.B. VAUGHN, the new Baptist pastor
on last Tuesday. Mr. V. is doubtless one of the most promising young men of
the Baptist Church, and we wish for him and his charge all possible religious
-We are pleased to see that Mr. W.T. BUTT has built and is occupying a
comfortable residence on the picnic grounds near Mr. SEIGLER's residence.
Also, Mr. J.H. TILLERY is having a neat cottage residence erected on another
portion of the picnic grounds, with the inimitable John DODD as designer and
builder. At the suggestion of Mr. DODD we will style this new settlement
