spring dinner theatre was
Larry Shue's farcical play The
Foreigner. An extremely shy
U Englishman is introduced to
citizens of a rural Georgia town as "a
foreigner" who speaks no English and
hopes for a peaceful vacation. However,
the various townsfolk have never
met a foreigner before and come to
visit him. They talk to him and confess
their wrongdoings to a man they
think doesn't understand what they
say and won't tell on them. Confusion,
misunderstanding, and the truth lead
to a hilarious resolution. Directed by
Melissa Green and designed by Larry
Wheeler, The Foreigner was the spring
dinner theatre production.- ---- ____
