THE TEMPO of American life has been distinctly accelerated during the past quarter of a century.
An industrial world, the product of scientific contribution, has given us a new frontier. It
is the purpose of Hardin-Simmons University to assist men and women in adjusting themselves to a
new civilization. The University expresses the hope that learnings acquired on her campus may
benefit you in your attack on your frontier.
THE CO-ED of the college campuses of today is seeking not only to add to her
grace and charm, but also to relate herself intelligently to the economic, political
and social order in which tomorrow she will doubtless exercise considerable control.
May her quest be an enduring quest gently pursued.
