and Mrs. Edgar Lancaster as host-

tive bride of Harmon C. Anderson,

Mr. and Mrs. Julius Nathan of
1925 Addison announce the en-
gagement of their daughter, Char-
lotte Louise, to Joe Tish, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Tish of Jop-
lin, Missouri.
Recently returned home after a
vacation in New York City and
Washington, D. C., are Mr. and
Mrs. William L. Holmes of 4014

Holmes attended the Golden An-
niversary Credit Congress of the
National Association of Credit
Men. He is president of the Hous-
ton chapter of the organization.
Mrs. J. A. Matlage and son, J.
A., Jr., of 6444 Westchester will
leave tomorrow for Washington, D.
C. They will go on to New York
where they will visit Major and
Mrs. H. V. Dietze, brother-in-law
and sister of Mrs. Matlage. J. A.
will remain for the summer and
Mrs. Matlage will return in three
weeks.
Mrs. J. W. Kilpatrick of 3025

stork shower recently honoring

rating the home. There were 29

Mr. and Mrs. Clyde McCulley
and children, Shirley and Doug-
las, of 2615 Tangley spent the
week-end in Calvert visiting rela-
tives.
Leaving Saturday for a month's
vacation in Helena, Montana, are
Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Crabbe of 2646
Tangley. They will visit their son,
Otis, Jr., and his family.
