Spring is just around the corner, and we look forward with anticipation. Trees bring
new growth and with this in mind, we can increase our knowledge for growth of our "Family
Through education, patience, and hard work we can bring forth growth to complete
our "Family Trees" and success for the Texas State Genealogical Society!
This year offers a wonderful opportunity to attend the National Genealogical Society
Conference in the States to be held in Houston, Texas. Please circle the dates of June 1-4.
Information schedules of the format are available through the Clayton Library, P.O.
Box 271078, Houston, TX 77277-1078.
It is an honor for the T.S.G.S. to have a booth at the N.G.S. Conference. Plans are
being made to have our Electronic Bulletin Board available. Information will be available for
T.S.G.S. membership and coming events.
We are pleased to announce that all twenty districts will have a district representative
working to help the different societies for the first time. They will be available to help inform
their society about T.S.G.S. membership and programs available. Each society will have
knowledge concerning the advantages of becoming a Partner Society.
As your new T.S.G.S. president, I look forward to working with you. Please call me if
