President's
Message
I hope that all of you had a
safe and sane holiday season.
It is now time to start thinking
about income tax returns, but
also it is time to begin planning
vacations so that you can join
us at the chapter meetings and
to be ready to be with us in
Charlotte for our 44th annual
reunion.
I also would request your help
to our various committees set
up to make the recommenda-
tions to our organization for the
continued success of our associa-
tion. Please make your thoughts
known to these committees for
nominations for the various a-
wards and for our future offi-
cers. Your thoughts are import-
ant to all our very active commit-
tees and also furnish your ideas
to the committee that is start-
ing the plans for our 50th Anniver-
sary reunion. Remember, this
is your association and your
thoughts and comments will
help determine how we can bet-
ter serve all our members.

Nominating Comm.
Chairman Request
The Nominating Committee
has no restrictions per the By-
Laws on the number of Candid-
ates it can offer to the member-
ship for each vacant office. In
pratice that means that every
office becomes vacant yearly ex-
cept for the offices that have
longer terms, ie: Director At
Large.
This year one Director at
large completes his term and a
new man will be offered for this
three year post.
The Nominating Committee
would appreciate it if all the
letters of recommendation for
each stated designated office is
submitted in writing with an
indication of the Candidates agree-
ment to serve if elected and
with his qualifications arrive
at least 90 days prior to our
reunion date in Charlotte, to
me or a member of the Commit-
tee.
The names submitted by this
Committee can be supplement-
ed by Nominations at the meet-
ing from the floor. It is suggest-
ed that all such Nominations
have a short biography of the

man and his prior acceptance
to serve if elected. This would
make all such nominations viab-
ale. Prior floor recogniation for
such nominations could be ob-
tained from the Secretary assur-
ing an orderly election process.
Our organization has been
"Blessed" with excellent offi-
cers and Candidates over its
exisitence. Your support of this
Committee with your letters of
recommendation will continue
to assure that this process con-
tinues.
I wish to thank those of you
who have already submitted let-
ters.
To our Very Special Hellkittens, "Happy Valentines Day!

We sincerely hope that those
of you still unpaid, will take
