I hope our association can continue to pull together - communi-
cate and cooperate. As comrades of the war we have a strong bond.
The open letter to Marion Tervay in the June issue was right on.
I enjoyed her writing, and can see what effort she spent as historian.
Also, I would like to say that I have read Jules Tervay's column
for the 119th Engineers and always found it interesting and stimu-
lating some thought. As for the matter of expressing opinions, he,
or anyone, should be free to do so. Read letters in the V.F.W.
magazine, and the American Legion magazine. Opinions expressed
in those national magazines are quite the same on social and
political issues as many of us hold, and they are not censored.
The 12th Armored Division Association is one of the best, and
it appears to me that is mainly because most of us were together for
a long time through training and combat.

HEADS UP
It is that time of year again. The Association has made provisions
for sending your Hellcat News by first class mail. This is a way to
assure you get yours in good time every time. If you are one who
moves twice a year, this is especially advantageous. You need only
notify your post office and they will forward. All we need is your
permanent address and when you notify the post office, they do the
rest. The cost to you is $10.00 in addition to your dues. You get
better postal service and besides - it makes this job just a bit easier.
