Albany girls walked away with
a 50-47 win.
"This was one of the most
exciting finishes I've ever been a
part of," remarked Coach Paul

the game with 38 seconds left,"
he continued. "We watched as
Eula missed two free throws and
left us with 17 seconds in the
game. We got the ball and called
a time out. With three seconds
left, Akisha put up a bank shot
from four feet outside of the three
point line, to win the game. It
was exciting!"
Qoach Johnston commended
the varsity girls for an outstand-
ing win and superb team effort.
He also commented on a truly
impressive crowd that night at
the game. "I've never seen so
many .Albany fans at a basket-
ball game—the gym was packed,
and loud too! We really appreci-
ate all of the support."

games, but we still did many
things well," stated the coach. "I
felt like we were a little flat
coming off the Eula game, but at
the same time, we still played
hard. Every girl scored, and
that's always nice to see. Once
again, thanks to all the parents,
teachers and fans for all your
support."
