final elimination contest, of which
mynber Helen teceived a slight ma-
jority over Maggie Evans, Kerens,
freshman. Other participants in the
second elimination held last Satur-
day were Sadie Brewer, Eastland;
Eloise Wallace, Cooledge; and Eve-
lyn Woodward, Dallas.
Helen is a member of the Soph-
omore class, Korosophian Literary
Society, and was one of the attend-
ants from the' sophomore class to the
carnival queen. She attended Kidd
Key College at Sherman as a fresh

of the highest scholarship average's
