THIS IS THE YEAR TO VOTE
January is the only month whereas a person may
register to vote in an and a11 1968 elections.
Elections coming up include city council, school
board, state legislator positions, House of Rep.'s
seat, governor of Texas, President and Vice-Pres.of
the United States. There are also others.
You can help decide who will fill these positions
by registering and voting. Itts a lie to say, "They
are going to do what they want any-way," The truth is
they will do what YOU LET then do. If you have no
vote, YOU LET them do. If you register and vote, YOU
help toDECIDE what they do.
VWASiIt UP ABILENLINS1!! Surely you have seen how
citizens in other states and cities have registered.
Certainly you have seen the elections won by Negroes
and liberal candidates in our state and other states,
These people have awakven to the realization thatVOTES
DO COUNT. They know that VOTING POWER IS THE BEST
POVWE1 THAT A PEOPLE CAN HAVE.
Letts catch up to 1968 and register. A mobile trailor
will be in various neighborhoods, teams will be coming
to your houses, or you my go by Carver and Sears'
Centers or the tax office to register.
Somehow, someplace, REGIISTERt ! !!!
