TAKE NOTICE that a hearing
will be had at tho Courthouse in
the City of Tulla on a petition
to the Commissioners Court on
the proposition of issuing the
Bonds of said Commissioners
Precinct No 2 in an amount
not to exceed One Hundred
Fifteen Thousand 11500000
Dollars as more particularly setout
in order fixing the hearing
as follows

FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE
OF HEARING ON THE PETITION
FOR THE ISSUANCE OF
BONDS BY COMMISSIONERS
PRECINCT NO 2 OF SWISHER
COUNTY TEXAS
WHEREAS there came on to
be considered the petition of A
J Harris and 110 other persons
representing themselves to be
resident qualified electors of
Swisher County Commissioners
Precinct No 2 who own taxable
property in said Precinct and
who have duly rendered the same
for taxation praying that this
Court order an election in Commissioners
Precinct No 2 of
Swisher County Texas to determineWhether or not the bonds rf
said Swisher County Texas
Commissioners Precinct No 2
shall be issued in an amount of
511500000 bearing interest at a
rate not to exceed 3Mi9o per
annum payable semiannually
and maturing at such time as
may bo fixed by the Commissioners
Court serially or otherwise
in not to exceed Twenty
20 years from the date thereof
for the purpose of the construction
maintenance and operation
of macadamized graveled
or paved roads and turnpikes or
in aid thereof throughout Swisher

and WHEREAS it appears to the
Court and is so adjudged that
said petition is signed by at
least fifty of the qualified electors
who own taxable property in
Commissioners Precinct No a
of Swisher County Texas and
who have duly rendered the
same for taxation and
WHEREAS said Commissioner
Precinct No 2 of Swisher County
Texas waa heretofore created
by order of the Commissioners
Court duly entered on the 12th
day of August 1924 which order
is of record in the minutes of
Commissioners Court in Book 3
pages CO and 01 and the boundaries
of such Precinct were subsequently
redefined by the
Commissioners Court on the 9th
day of August 1926 which order
is of record in the minutes of
said Commissioners Court in
Book 3 page 179 et scq
BE IT ORDERED BY THE
COMMISSIONERS COURT OF
SWISHER COUNTY TEXAS
1 That a hearing shall be had
by this Court at the Courthouse
in the City of Tulia Texas on
said petition on the 28th day of
October 1947 which date is not
less than fifteen days nor more
than thirty days from the date
of this order
2 The Clerk of said Court
shall forthwith issue a notice
of time and place of hearing
which notice shall inform all
persons concerned of the time
and place of hearing and of
their right to appear at such
hearing and contend for or pro
test the ordering of such bond
election
3 Said notice shall state the
amount of bonds proposed to be
issued and shall describe the
Precinct by its number and
shall describe the boundaries
thereof as contained in the order
establishing the Precinct
4 The Clerk shall execute said
notice posting true copies thereof
at three public places within the
said Commissioners Precinct No
2 of Swisher County Texas and
one at the Courthouse door of the
