Marine Recruiting
Officer Is Here
Every Second Friday
A little known fact about the
U. S. Marine Corps is that 140
Marine Corps Schools train
Marines for over 400 specialized
skills and trades.
"Eighteen thousand new Ma-
rines graduate for these schools
each year," says Sergeant Mack
Barrow, the Marine Corps Re-
cruiter for this area.
On his monthly visits to the
Post Office here, Sergeant Bar-
row carries colorful literature
including a new booklet which
shows most of the Marine Corps
schools and jobs, and is avail-
able to anyone thinking of the
military as a career.
Sergeant Barrow is in the
Post Office here in Schulenburg
every 2nd Friday from 4 to 4:30
p.m. or he may be contacted
anytime at the Austin Recruit-
ing Office, located in the Old
Post Office Building.
