Greatest Work.
getting »ud rearing ot a family.
It is for the purpose of diffusing thin
knowledge that Professor Fowler has giv-
en to tbe world this work "Sexual Science,"
which is simply an explanation of the
laws which govern the sexes ill their rela-
tion to each other. IJo pointsoitt thednties
of husbands aud wives and disclosos facts
of which no true man or woman ought to
lie ignorant, lie lets us into the secret of
preserving female health and beauty far
into tho old age, and si,own how mothers
can avoid mnoh of the suffering of bring-
ing children into the world—a subject in
which every woman is interested and how
"female complaints" may bo avoided with
ease and certainty.
His book is pure and elevated in its
style and ideas, and furnishes a practical
solution of many of the most perplexing
questions of life. It should be read by tlis
young anil old, by tlie married and single,
and especially by those contemplating
marriage. It touches upon questions and
discusses them throughly, in which every
married person is interested. The advice
which it gives to unhappy or iudiUerent
husbands and wives is sound and practi-
cal, and its warnings to those who seek
to promote pleasure at the expense of
health ought to be read by every one. The
ttrrible practice of "regulating the siza of
families," which prevails in many parts of
our country, is shown in itstruo light, and
wo commond the chapters concerning it to
every husband and wife.
All friends of morality and purity in so-
sial life will hail the advent of Professor
Fowler's hook with delight, and those
who seek information upon the curious
and tragic features of domestic life, those
who would study human nature stripped
of its liiaiks and disguises, will find this
volume the best hand book in existence.
Young men who value their domestic hap-
piness, should not fail to read his remarks
on the subject of selecting a wife, us the
information it contains is beyond value.
The book is a real blessing to the public,
and will be regarded nssnch by all w ho
read it. The low price at which it, is issued
brings it Within tho reach of all, and
every person who wants to arrive at a
proper understanding of tho true relations
of the sexes, should procure a copy. It is
sold by subscription only, and Mr. >S. O.
ltnrton who is tho authorized agent for
this section, is now canvassing for it.

THE ONLY KNOWN MEDICINE
that at tiik sauk time
Purges, Purines, mid
ens the System.
Dr. Tutt's Pilla are composed of
many ingredients. Prominent among them
are Sarsaparilla ami Wild Cherry, so uni-
ted as lo act together; the one, through
its mixture with other substances, puiily-
ing anil purging; while the other is
strengthening the system. Thus these
Tills are at tho same time a tonic and a
cathartic, a desideratum long sought for
by medical men, qnt, never before discov-
ered. In other words, they dothewoik
of two modicidcs and do it much better
than any two we know of, for they re-
move nothing from tho system but impu-
rities, so that wliilo they purge they also
strengthen and hence they cause no debil-
ity and are followed by no reaction.
|>r. Tutt's Pills have a wonderful
influence on the hloid. Tlioy not only
purify without weakening it, but they
remove all noxious particles from tlie
chyle before it is converto ! into tlnid, and
thus makes impure blood an utter impos-
sibility. As there is no debilitation, so
there is no nausea or sickness attending
the operation of this most excellent medi-
cine, which nrver strains or tortures tbe
digestive organs' but causes them to work
in a perfectly natural manner; hence per-
sons taking them do not becomu pale and
emaciated, but on the contrary, while ail
iin|iiirilies are being removed, the com
bined action of tee Sarsaparilla and Wild
Cherry purifies and invigorates tho body,
and a robust state of health is the result
of their nnitcd action, Price, 25 cents a
