Tiik railroad case *r as yesterday hied
in" tbe District Court before Judge Noonan.
After an able argument on botb sides, the
Judge declared tbe election to have been
legal, aud ordered the County Court to
nceept a good and substantial bond. This
is all right and satisfactory. It is now
left to the Couuty Court to guard the
citizens against any attempt to evade tbe
stipulation of the contract as set forth in
the original proposition, tbe court will
do it.

The citizens ofCoriune, Utah, are feel-
ing jubilant over the success of the Grand
Gift Concert recently inaugurated in that
city for tbe benelit of their free school.
As the day of drawing approaches the
demand for tickets increases, and there is
no doubt that tbe Concert will take place
as advertised. All who desire to invest
had better do so at once and secure a
chance of drawing «T»o,000 on an invest-
ment of $1.00. Full particulars will be
found in another column.
This is undoubtedly the most unpleas-
ant season we have had for the last twelve
months. l)ay after day the sky is cov«-red
with a mass of gray clouds while dense
fogs darken the air and tbe moisture per-
vades everything. It is rainy day aud
night, with short intervals, the ground is
perfectly saturated with water and the
streets are enjoying a cover of twelve
inches of mud. Rheumatism is rampant,
and every living so«l feels uneasy and is
longing for a sight of the sun. And there
aro people who talk ot Texas as a dry
country!

Halt the diseases of the human family
spriug from a disordered stomach, aud
may bo prevented by invigorating and
toning that abused and neglected organ
with Hostetter's Stomach Bitters. Let it
be borne in mind that the liver, tbe kid-
neys, I ho intestines, the muscles, the
ligiments, the bones, the nerves, the in-
teguments, are all renewed aud nourished
by the blood, and that the digestive or-
gans are the grand alembic in which tue
materials of the vital fluid are prepared.
When the stomach fails to provide health-
ful nourishment for its dependencies they
necessarily suffer, and the ultimate result,
if the evil is not arrested, will be chronic
and probably fatal disease somewhere. It
tnay be developed in the kidneys in t he
form of diabetis, in the liver as conges
tion, in the muscles as rheumatism, in the
nerves as paralysis, in the integuments as
scrofula. Remember, however, thai, each
and all of these consequcnces of indiges-
tion may be prevented by tbe timely and
regular use of that sovereign antidote to
dyspepsia, Hostettei's Bitters.
