MISSION STATEMENT OF THE TEXAS HISTORICAL FOUNDATION
The mission of the Texas Historical Foundation is to serve past, present, and future Texans
by supporting research in and publication of Texas history, assisting in the preservation
of historic and prehistoric artifacts and information, and raising and providing funds for
these purposes in order to recognize and honor past generations and to enrich the awareness
of and pride in Texas heritage for present and future generations.
