is F.M. Burch, Company B, 62NC Infantry. The image below
is of John Beverly Henderson, 1st Texas Infantry, of Cass County,
Linden, Texas. Information on Henderson indicates that he was
born August 1928 and buried in the Red Hill Family Cemetery in
The Confederate Research Center includes reference books on
the War Between the States including, "The Official Records",
"Southern Historical Society Papers", and the "Confederate Veterans
& Confederate Military Housing". Researchers will also find
capsule histories of all 3,220 Confederate regiments, special units,
and Confederate ships. More than 5,000 books, brochures, and
pamphlets on the war can also be found at the research center and

all service records of Hood's Texas Brigade, Texas newspapers
published during the war, 1860 census reports of Texas counties,
post returns of U.S. forts in Texas (1848-61), and an informational
file on Texas-Confederate soldiers.
The center's archives also contain original letters, documents,
maps, and photographs pertaining to the war. In addition,

lists photographic collections held by libraries, historical

and other public entities in Texas.
