SESSION OF 1919-'20
must be made in order that the interests of both the student and the
institution may be safe-guarded.
First.-Each student will be required to satisfy the entrance requirements
of fifteen standard high school units.
Second.-Each student will be required to take the following
courses or their equivalent.
1. English, three cburses, in addition to the work prescribed for

4. Physical science, three courses in one science.
5. Mathematics, two courses.
Third.-Each student will be required to elect by the beginning
of his junior year one of the following groups. The student will be
required to complete as many as seven courses, and not more than
ten courses in his major; as many as five courses, and not more than
seven courses in his first minor; an as many as four courses in his
second minor. An effort has been made in groupinihg-he -wor to arrange
it in such a way that the minor subjects will strengthen the
major subject and this make the students' specialization more effective.
