SESSION OF 1918-'19
We, as trustees of Abilene Christian College, invite your patronage,
sincerely believing that our institution is organized, managed
and conducted in every department in such a manner as to deserve the
patronage of the most exacting.
We are giving our prayers, time, work, and money freely in an
earnest endeavor to develop and maintain a Junior College of the
very best type from a Christian point of view as well as an educational
We consider carefully not only our successes and the commendations
we hear but even more carefully every failure, every criticism
We consider no man's personal interest, but the interests of our
children and of the other boys and girls and young men and young
ladies who may be induced to become students in Abilene Christian
College. It is our highest ambition to see every one of our students
properly taught and influenced in every respect. We solicit your
patronage, believing that such will be the case and promising you
our closest attention and best efforts that such shall be the case.
We are just closing what those of us who have been with the
school from its beginning consider our best year. The enrollment
has not been quite as large as during the first year of Brother Sewell's
administration but the average daily attendance has been larger.
The work has been perfectly harmonious and the most substantial
We are continuing under the same management with greater confidence
than ever and are expecting a great session during 1918-'19.
We ask not only your patronage but also your encouragement
and co-operation in making Abilene Christian College the strongest
and best school of its kind.
