GENERAL INFORMATION 19
The Mission Study.-Mission classes are conducted by various
instructors. The purpose of this study is to acquaint students
with the mission fields and to stimulate interest in missionary
work. Accredited courses in Mission study will be given by the
Department of Geography and History, and also by the Department
Prayer Meeting.-Each Wednesday evening a prayer and
praise service is conducted in the college auditorium.
Lecture Week-The last week of February each year is devoted
to lectures on Bible themes, delivered by outstanding thinkers
and leaders. The lectures are published in book form.
ABILENE CHRISTIAN COLLEGE BULLETIN.
This is a college publication by the faculty of Abilene Christian
College issued twelve times a year. One of the issues is
the catalogue number. The other numbers contain announcements
that are of interest to patrons.
The Bulletin will be mailed regularly to any one who will
indicate a desire for it. The college desires to keep its friends
informed of its progress.
The Optimist is a weekly college paper published by the
students. It is entirely in the hands of the students, under the
general oversight of the faculty.
THE PRICKLY PEAR.
The Prickly Pear is the College Annual. It is a neat book,
and reflects all sides of college life from its more serious phases
to the jokes and pranks which grow out of warm friendship and
A. C. C. BIBLE LECTURES.
This is a book containing the lectures which are delivered
during the Lecture Week.
This is a monthly publication edited by the college in the
interest of Christian education.
