ABILENE CHRISTIAN COLLEGE
G. C. MORLAN, B. A., M. A.
ORGANIZATION OF WORK
A limited number of courses in some of the departments are
offered to students by correspondence. All such work is carried
on under the supervision of Prof. G. C. Morlan, Director of the
Correspondence School. The student should make application
directly to him, pay all fees to him, accept his acknowledgement
of receipt for the same, in case of any matter of information not
furnished as a part of the course communicate with him, and in
case of a complaint of any nature make the same directly to him.
When the applicant has been registered for a certain course
he will be assigned to an instructor and will carry on the work
CONDITIONS OF ENTRANCE AND CREDIT WORK.
No work below the College is offered. The student, therefore,
should be able to carry on college work.
No preliminary examination is required; but before the work
will be credited toward graduation or a certificate, and before it
will be transferred to any other educational institution all conditions
for college entrance must be satisfied.
The student can begin the course at any time. When the instruction
has been begun the student must pursue it without unreasonable
delay. A failure to report for a period of ninety
days will forfeit the student's rights to the course. In case of
reasonable excuse the student may be reinstated upon recommendation
of the Director of the Correspondence School and the payment
of a fee of $1.00. The course must be finished within one
year from the date of registration or no credit will be given. In
an extreme case an extension of time may be had on application
in writing to the Director.
Not more than one-fourth of the requirements for a degree
may be done by correspondence, that is, a total of nine courses.
It is preferred that the student offer less than this.
