ABILENE CHRISTIAN COLLEGE
MORGAN H. CARTER, B. A., M. A.
It is the purpose of the Extension Division of the College of
the Bible to carry its service out into the surrounding territory
to individuals and to groups in such a way that they may be able
to derive something of the same benefits that might be had by
actual attendance upon classes at the College.
To this end the work is organized so as to give instruction by
correspondence and by personal visits of a lecturer from the
faculty of the College of the Bible.
All of the work of this Division is under the supervision of
Prof. Morgan H. Carter, Director of Extension Division.
Courses elected by the student will be given by the Director
or assigned by him to another instructor at his option.
A record of all work done will be kept by the Director and
by the Registrar of the College.
DESCRIPTION OF COURSES.
Courses of two kinds are given:
1. College credit courses, for which credit toward graduation
is given. These are given on the same terms and
conditions as other courses by correspondence in College
of Arts and Sciences. For description of these see Correspondence
School, College of Arts and Sciences.
2. Non-credit, or Service courses, for which no credit is given.
These courses are designed to be of practical benefit for
pastors, deacons, teachers, personal workers, and all others
who are interested in attaining a greater degree of efficiency
in the kingdom of Christ.
GROUP STUDY AND LECTURES.
In the event five or more students in the same locality register
for the same course, either Credit or Non-credit, the work will be
under the direction of the local leader who is selected by the
class and approved by the Director of the Extension Division.
