The College and Academy are separate to the extent of separate
periods and faculties. The separation means a great deal
to each division. Each department is thereby strengthened.
In many sections of Texas the young people do not have the
advantage of a high school. There are parents, too, who prefer
to have their children brought up in Christian environment and
under Christian teachers. To meet these needs an Academy is
maintained in the Abilene Christian College buildings.
The work is thorough and genuine. The Academy is to be
affiliated with the Association of Texas Colleges this year.
