2.-Algebra. This course is a continuation of Algebra I.
Stress will be laid upon the equations and radicals. Solution of
equations by graphs will receive a great deal of attention. Text:

3.-Plane Geometry. The solution of exercises and originals
will constitute a large part of the course. A note book will be
required. Text: Wentworth & Smith, Plane Geometry.
4.-Commercial Arithmetic. In this course stress is laid on
drill in fundamentals in order to make it as practical as possible.
Text: Sutton and Lemmes, Brief Business Arithmetic.

science, physiology and physiography, or agriculture as the
science for the first year, but says that general science cannot be
given to the exclusion of physiology and physiography. Text:
