there is a large reception room. It is heated with gas and well
furnished throughout. This building is also used for girls.
This is a new, substantial, frame building, well lighted, and
heated with gas. It is equipped with new, modern apparatus.
In addition to this, the entire basement of the old administration
building is equipped for physics. The basement of the
new administration building is equipped for college biology.
This is the beautiful home occupied by President Sewell, his
family and a few young men. It is located on the northeast corner
of the thirty-five acre campus. On this campus it is the purpose
of the management to build the new college plant entirely.
The present plant will then be used for the Academy.
A. C. C. has one of the best athletic parks in Texas. It contains
about five acres. The ground is ideal for the purpose. It
is nicely fenced and contains an excellent grandstand. In addition
to this there are good tennis courts for both men and women,
and a good basketball floor on the college campus.
This is a one-story stucco structure with twenty rooms, eleven
by sixteen feet and a hall full length. Every room is comfortable
and sanitary. It will be used only until the new brick building
for men can be completed.
MEN'S BATH HOUSE.
This is a brick and concrete building. It is equipped with
good shower bath and toilet fixtures.
THREE FRAME COTTAGES.
On our campus there are three good frame cottages that will
be used in caring for students while new buildings are being provided.
