4. ENTRANCE BY TEACHER'S CERTIFICATE.
First grade state teachers' certificates, 9 units; permanent
state teachers' certificates, 12 units; graduation from state normal
school, three years' course, 15 units and 9 college credits; graduation
from state normal school, four year's course, 15 units,
and as many credits as the student's record shows to have been
completed. Deficiencies must be met by examination or work
in the college.
5. ENTRANCE FROM OTHER COLLEGES.
A student seeking admission from another college must present
a letter of honorable dismissal, a catalogue of the college from
which he comes, and a full statement of the work he has done, including
entrance credits. This statement must be made out on an
official blank and properly signed by the authorities of the college
where the work was done. He will also furnish evidence of
good moral character and honorable standing in the school last
CLASSIFICATION OF STUDENTS.
1. Regular.-A regular student is one who is taking at least
twelve hours of recitation per week and who conforms to the requirements
leading to a degree.
Regular students are ranked according to the amount of work
they have previously done. The ranks are as follows:
(1) Thirteen entrance units, "Conditional Freshmen."
(2) Fifteen entrance units, "Freshmen."
(3) Fifteen entrance units and as many as nine courses,
(4) Full entrance and as many as eighteen courses,
(5) Full entrance and as many as twenty-seven courses,
2. Irregular.-A Student is considered "irregular" when he
is taking the full amount of work but is not meeting the requirements
for a degree.
3. Special.-All students who take less than the minimum
