233.-Observation and Practice Teaching.
Course 133 or experience as a teacher and at least sophomore
standing are required for admission to this course. In 133 observation
will be stressed but in this course actual teaching under
supervision will be stressed. Much attention will be given to
special methods in Music, Drawing, etc. Different kinds and
phases of teaching will be observed and practice teaching will

A course dealing with the problems peculiar to the administration
and supervision of our public schools. Text: Dutton

administration. It is desirable that Education 323 be taken before
this course. The work will consist largely of individual reports
of assigned topics, class discussion, and special papers. Public
School Administration by Cubberley will be used as a text.

leading educational periodicals. The leading articles will be reported
in class and become subjects for class discussion. Offered
in Fall, Winter and Spring.
