GENERAL INFORMATION
The need for a college education is greater than at
any period in our history. Both high school graduates of
1943 and students now in college should take advantage
of the summer session to complete as much college work
as possible.
There is a growing demand for courses in chemistry,
physics, and mathematics. Adequate provision will be
made to meet the needs of both men and women in
these fields.
Your attention is directed to the comprehensive
short course in business training which may be completed
in twelve weeks. The course consists of, Typewriting,
shorthand and secretarial training. Students
completing this work will be qualified for positions in
government or private offices.
Students interested in observation and practice
teaching will use the demonstration school on the campus. The college courses are listed by departments which
are arranged alphabetically. For a description of these
courses see the general college catalog.
A number of Bible courses are offered each term
by the regular college instructors. Chapel is held each
day and every student is expected to attend. On Sunday
Bible classes and the Lord's Day worship are conducted
on the campus. Every Wednesday evening there is a
prayer and praise service.
The regular summer session begins on June 3 and
continues until August 20. A three weeks intercession
will follow and will close on September 10.
Classes will meet five days each week. A majority
of the classes will be held in the morning. Every effort
will be made to make the summer a pleasant and enjoyable
one for all students.-6
