Governing Council
The Graduate School will be under the direction of a
Graduate Council made up of members of the faculty,
all of whom have received advanced degrees and who
are recognized as outstanding in their various fields.
They are:
Walter H. Adams, Chairman, Dean of the College
G. C. Morlan, Head, Department of Education
Fred J. Barton, Head, Department of Speech
J. W. Treat, Head, Department of Modern Languages
Paul C. Witt, Head, Department of Science
W. Earl Brown, Head, Department of Social Science
Paul Southern, Head, Department of Bible
Frank Pack, Professor of Bible
The Graduate Council has planned the Graduate program,
including the requirements for admission to
graduate study, the requirements for admission to
candidacy for the Master's Degree and the requirements
for the Master's Degree.
The Council will approve all courses accepted for
graduate credit, make plans for the Graduate School,
and will recommend those who are to receive the
Master's Degree from Abilene Christian College.
