Pre-Engineering-Prospective engineering students may do one,
two, or in some instances, three years of work in Abilene Christian
College before entering engineering school. During the freshman
year, the student should register for mathematics, chemistry, engineering
drawing, Bible, and English. Second year students
should plan their course in keeping with the requirements of the
particular phase of engineering they plan to enter.
PRE-LAW-Students who wish to take a Pre-Law course should
study the entrance requirements of the particular law school they
expect to enter and plan their course accordingly. However, either
of the following plans might well be followed the first two years
in Abilene Christian College:

If the three year Pre-Law program is followed, the student
should consult with the Dean in planning the third year.
REQUIREMENTS FOR A DEGREE
In order to receive a Bachelor of Arts, or a Bachelor of
Science degree from Abilene Christian College, a student must
meet the general requirements and the specific requirements
under either "A" or "B" below.
A student is permitted to meet the requirements set forth in the
catalogue published the year he enters Abilene Christian College,
or any subsequent year, provided that not more than six years have
elapsed from the time he enters until he graduates, and provided
further that he satisfies all of the requirements set forth in any one
issue.
A. Requirements for the Bachelor of Arts Degree
1. General Requirements
a. The candidate for graduation must have satisfied all entrance
requirements.
b. One hundred twenty-four semester hours including four
one-hour courses in physical education. (The physical education
must be done during the first two years of college work unless excused
by the Dean on recommendation of the college physician).42
