Photograph of four religious articles at San Fernando Cathedral. From left to right they are: a metal crown, an incomplete baptism kit, an incense boat with spoon, and another crown. These were originally used at Mission San Jose.
The Society documents the history of San Antonio and South Central Texas with an emphasis on the built environment. This history includes photographs of San Antonio street scenes and a few portraits, taken by professional photographer Ernst Raba between c. 1853 and c. 1939.

Notes
The crowns were often silver, and placed on a statue of the Blessed Virgin or a Saint. The boat is used in Benediction and when incense is needed. Incense granules were kept inside it. Spoon is used to put them in an incensor.
