HRM 332 Human Resource Management (3-0-3), fall, spring. A
study of the fundamental functions of human resource management as
they interact with the relationship between management and the
personnel of the organization. Functions of human resource
management include the following: human resource planning,
recruitment, and selection; human resource development; compensation
and benefits; safety and health; employee and labor relations; and human
resource research.
HRM 342 Career Management (3-0-3), fall. The process of planning
and managing individual careers is studied as a fundamental process in
human resource management. Organizational perspectives are
emphasized but personal applications are also included. Prerequisites:
MGMT 130; ECON 260 or concurrent enrollment; HRM 332. Course

HRM 350 Applied Research: Design and Analysis (3-0-3), fall.
Focuses on development of conceptual and technical skills for doing
research in the workplace and other applied settings. Emphasis is on

spring. Guided internship with seminar designed to place students in

An introduction to spreadsheet, word processing and data base software
using microcomputers, together with the concepts and terminology of
