It does not effect our hearts, they
are still courageous and warms beat

About In o'clock Sunday night,
light watchman Hiram Beanchamp
ieard a noise in Messrs. Knoop &
schawe's store on the east side of
court square, and hastened to inform
Marshal Swain and Policeman Whit-
man ofhis discovery.
They repaired to the sceue without
delay, but the burglar had heard the
night watchmau aud hastily made
jus exit and escaped.
* The entrance had been effected by
raising the window sash and bending
" the upright iron bars across the win-
dow that so his body could squeeze in
between them, but in his precipitous
ilight he forgot his coat aud vest, the
former containing a clue to,his identity
which will doubtless lead to his ar-
rest.
In the coat pocket was a grocers
book and his name, which is with-
held for presidential reasons until lie
;un be captured.
About 00 cents in change and a few
little articles were missed from the
store. A gold watch that was lying
in the show case was overlooked.

this under the Impression that medic- j
ainents only which are violent in
their action,"and particularly cathar-
tics, are of any avail. I rrepara bio inj ury
to health is wrought under this mis-
taken idea. The laxative which most
nearly approaches the beneficent ac-
tion of nature is Hostetter's Stomach
Bitters, which is painless but
thorough, and invigorates the intesti-
ual canal instead of weakening and
irritating it. The liver and the stom-
ach share in the benign discipline in-
stituted by this comprehensive medi-

throughout tlie system. Malarious,
rheumatic, kidney and nervous com-
plaints succumb to it.
