The name of Chas. D. ISpann was called. His presiding elder stated
that complaints had been made against him and that a committee had ad-
judged a trial necessary. The Chair appointed the following Committee on

A. Evans, W. C. Hiiburn, C. G. Shutt, B. A. Evans, S. C. Baird, M. A. Turner,

Rucker was elected secretary for this committee.
This question 22 was continued and resumed from day to day until the
name of each clerical member of the Conference was called and the response
in every case was "Nothing against him".

H. W. Knickerbocker's character passed and the Los Angeles Annual
Conference having restored his credentials he was excused from any further
examinations on the course of study.

The character of the following were passed and they having passed on
the course of study were advanced to the class of the fourth year: J. H.
Baldridge, V. Cejnar, A. C. Chappell, W. H. Keener, William J. Mayhew, W.
W. Nobles, Jno. A. Siceloff, E. R. Stanford, T. W. Taylor, Walter Vinsant,
J. Frank Luker, J. F. Tinkle and J. H. Clark.
Question 3.-Who are discontinued?
H. W. Clark, at his own request.
Committee on Public Worship announced preaching at 3 p. m. by J. W.
Downs and an educational rally at 7:30 p. m. to be addressed by Dr. Hyer,
H. A. Boaz and Jno. A. Rice.
Hour for adjournment having arrived, the Doxology was sung and S. C.
Littlepage pronounced the benediction.
