FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH
The thirties are a matter of history.
They arc filed away In the archives
of God until Judgment day. The
forties are ushered In. We hall 1940
as' another opportunity to do the work
of Him who sent us, There are those
who crave friendship and kindness,
those wVm need comfort, those to be
taught the word of God, those who
need to be won to Christ, those who
need to be trained for service; these
are such stupendous tasks that it
would challenge the angels.
Start this year right by coming to
church; bring your family, urge your
neighbors to come.
Subject for the morning service:
“This Jordan"; subject for the even-
ing service: "Lights in the Darkness”,
We invite strangers and visitors.
Soulful music, warm welcome, wor-
shipful atmosphere.
