Speaker was Bob Brewer,
member and Relations Direc-
tor Tor the Texas Restaurant
Association of Austin for 12
years.
Brewer talked about posi-
tive selling of memberships
in TRA and positive ways one
can avoid money problems in
adjusting to an increased
labor cost through the higher
minimum wage.

THE TLUA invitational
tournament begins today
(Thursday. Dec. 8) and goes
through Saturdac night.
Teams in the girls side of the
bracket include Canyon,
Dimmitt. Harwell. Friona.
Kriss, Lockney, Slaton and
host Tulta. The boys side of
the tournament has the same
teams with the exception of
Canyon and Dimmitt. The
Phillips boys and the Tulia
Junior Varsity teams will
replace these two teams. I he
Lockney and Dimmitt girls
open the tournament at 10:00
a.m. followed by the Lockney
and Tulia .I.V. boys game. At
I (Hi Slaton and Friona girls
play, with the same two boys
teams to plav at 2:.TO. At four
the Canyon and Harwell girls
meet and the Phillips and
Harwell boys will play at
5:30. The last two games in
the opening round will be
between the Kress and Tulia
teams. The girls game at
7:00 and the boys at 8:30.
The championship games
will be at ’ 00 and 8:30

Special guests of Mrs. Lee
were Henry and Lynette
Roach of K-Bob's in Tulia.
