for the purpose of admitting a lubricant
to the said chamber, which is partially filled
with the lubricant, and as the wheel turns a
portion, of this lubricant is carried around
5 upon the inner walls of the chamber and
gradually runs down said walls onto shaft
20, which passes axially through the bear-
ing members 9 and 10, and works outwardly
along. the shaft and keeps the bearings

A wheel constructed in accordance with
the foregoing description and the drawings
accompanying the dame, and made a part
thereof, will be fond to be easily and
15 cheaply -constructed, automatically oiled in
its bearings, and will further possess light-
ness and durability the two prince virtues
sought to be attained.
What I claim is:-
20 In a wheel -of the character described, ahub comprising a disk. having a central
opening therethrough, two opposing cone
shaped members. whose bases rest against
said disk on opposite . sides and surround
said central opening, said cone shaped mem- 25
hers having their bases concaved so as to
leave a central chamber within said hub,
bearing members integral with said cone
shaped members and continuing from the
apexes thereof, similar cone shaped collars 3o
fitting over said cone shaped members and
means for securing the said collars to the
disk.
