Just a little waxen lily.
In the freshness of life’s spring,
Transplanted by the angels,
To the Garden of the King.
Juat a folded bud of sweetness,
With its promise of white bloom,
Blowing into rare completenesa,
Far beyond earth’s winter gloom.
Th?re no frost can blight It beauty,
In heaven’s eternal spring,
Or mar its rare perfection,
Where the Seraphini shall ring.
While the golden harps of glory
E’er proclaim with one aecoid.
That our preciors Easter lily
Blooms beside the risen I ord.
