Patients of the Houston Vet-
erans Hospital will be afforded
the opportunity of watching “big
name” football teams in action
this fall on free admission to all
University of Houston home foot-
ball games, it was announced
this week by Harry Fouke, Ath-
letic Director, University of
Houston.
“This gesture is being extend-
ed to the veterans not as a
charitable gift, but to acquaint
them with the university and to
provide them with the oppor-
tunity to watch some of the na-
tion’s best football teams in
action this fall at prices they can
easily afford,” Fouke said.
Among the top name teams
that the University of Houston
plays this year are Tulsa, Wil-
liam A Mary, and Baylor.
