The Sutherlin Family presents their collection of family letters to and from James Edgar Sutherlin, when he served in the U.S. Navy in WWII. He enlisted before he was 18 and served from 1943 - 1946. Official Navy documents, ship menus, Newsletters, and family photographs are included.

Text of certificate: "This Certifies that E. B. Sutherlin is the owner of Two Shares of the par value of $100.00 each of the Capital Stock of The Se-Cola Bottling Company, transferable only on the books of the Company by the owner in person or by attorney on surrender of this Certificate. These Shares are fully paid up and non-assessable and are accepted and held subject to and in conformance with the Agreement and Declaration of Trust, dated May 1, 1919, which provides among other things that no persona liability shall ever rest upon the owner of shares thereunder by reason of ownership thereof. In Witness Whereof, The Se-Cola Bottling Company has caused this Certificate to be subscribed to by its duly authorized officers and its Seal to be hereunto affixed at Houston, Texas, this 23rd day of March, 1920."
