Is Squadron Leader
Harry Winters Jr., son of Mr.
and Mrs. H. A. Winters of Bridge
City, completed his basic training
last week at the Lackland Air
Force Base in San Antonio where
he was promoted to a squadron
leader. He is a graduate of Bishop
Byrne High School, Port Arthur,
and was attending Lamar Tech at
the time of his enlistment. He was
due to arrive home on furlough last
weekend but his schedule was
changed.
