The seven-foot wall of water in the
North Canadian river which deluged
Oklahoma City early Tuesday was
rolling eastward with diminished
volume today.
Due at Wcelcka during the night,
the creet was still above the city
early today, according to advices
here. The river was falling at
Weeleka and points eastward.
With the fall of tbs river in ad-
vance of the crest, weather bureau
offiicals hero today believed the
North Canadian flood menace to the
state had passed.

mands of the federal dictator of
Dresden district, General Mueller
Ho opposed the answering of the
goneral’s letter, demanding the Sax-
on cabinet disavow the fiery speech-
es of Saxon finance minister, Boett-
cher.
Zeigner declared today he was
ready to fight for a dictatorship of
the proletariat.

food prices in September increased
two percent over August prices, the
bureau of labor statistics of the de-
partment of labor announced today.
Los Angeles, Lewisville, and St.
Louis each underwent the biggest
general Incronse which was four per-
cent, while Atlanta, Savarnish, and
Houston showed tho smallest increase
of ono percent.
