THE AREA III SCHOOLS with Duane Maurstad as Superintendent had a 'P.E.
Extravaganza1 at Delmar Stadium, Tuesday evening, April 24 at 7 p.m. These Area III
schools now have P.E. teachers and all elementary schools have P.E. teachers at least
two days of the week. The communities are proud of such helpful instruction and each
school presented colorful student activities in the Extravaganza. Several thousand
students, teachers, and parents performed and observed.

dance under the direction of Constance Carmichael, their P.E. teacher.

in the Greater Bellaire
Chamber of Commerce

A film, entitled “Man
Alive” starring Peter
Graves, star of popular
television series ‘‘Mission
Impossible" will be the
program.
The public is invited to
attend. Refreshments will
be served. On
May 14 and 28, the Bellaire
Cancer Unit will have an
educational workshop at
Bellaire General Hospital.

dexter, John Wheatley,
chief of the Bellaire Police
Department, and Gene

County Child Welfare Unit.
The Family Outreach
Center serves families in
Bellaire and postal zone 35.
The Center offers personal,
no-fee counseling to families
experiencing child abuse
problems.
The public is cordially
invited to attend the open
house and meet the Center
staff. Family Outreach
Center is a joint venture of
the Houston Section, Na-
tional Council of Jewish
Women, and the harris
County Child Welfare Unit,
and may be reached by
