Bowling
Roundup
The 1974-75 fall bowling
season got off with a bang at
Stadium Bowl, notably in the
Camaro League, where 13
series of 600 or better were
recorded, led by James
Love’s 244-672.
However, high for the
week at Stadium belonged to
a woman bowler as Cindy
Lyon just missed crashing
into the charmed 700 cir-
cle with a 247-694 in the
Ladies Classic, one of four
600s by the girls. The other
600s in the Classic included
255-638 by Rocky Lee, a 214-
622 by Bert Lyons, a 234-
604 by Jane Garner and a 224-
602 by La France Flanagan.
Besides Love’s 672 in the
Camaro, other high scores in
that league included a 248-
662 by X3uy Watassek, a 247-
654 by Louis Mancha, a 219-
651 by Tom Meinhart, a 245-
648 by Rick Qualtrough and a
226-644 by Carl Sullivan.
Also at Stadium, H,
Mitchell led the Magic Mix-
ed with a 277-667 and J.
Leonard was high in the
Arco Mixed with a 268-633.
