Hermann Sons'Camp
Tabulations at the Grand
Lodge, Order of the Sons of
Hermann in Texas, reveal
that 1,502 youngsters re-
ceived a week of partially
free cmaping at the Her
mann Sons Youth Camp for
junior members in the Hill
Country at Comfort in 1976,
Grand President Henry
Riemer reported from his
office in Sam Antonio.
Eight hundred-and-eighty
of the campers were girls an
622 were boys. All of the
campers were residents of
Texas, except for eight
former Texas children now
living in other states and
abroad. Spending their
vacation with relatives in
Texas, one girl came all the
way from England to take
advantage of the camp, and
there was a girl camper from
Arabia as well as a boy
camper from Saudi Arabia.
Riemer said he hopes the
campers living in Texas will
participate in the all mem-
ber Sons of Hermann
Century Three Membership
Campaign, currently in
progress. Awards are con
nected with the drive.
