Walter Hagen Pro Am Golf Tournament, and Greg
Hughes (center), President of the Gulf Coast Profes-
sional Golf Association, are the first to sign up for
Houston's Third .Annual Walter Hagen Tournament,
which will be held November 29 at Brae Burn Country
Club, 8101 Bissonnet. At right is Adams McHenry, Tre-
asurer of the American Cancer Society. The Pro-Am
Tournament is sponsored each year by the P.G.A. to
perpetuate the memory of the famous golfer who died
of cancer, and to help raise funds to support the can-
cer research efforts of theA.C.S. ‘‘The Houston Tour-
nament has been one of the most successful of the Ha-
gen Memorial Tournaments around the nation, having
raised over $24,000 for cancer research,” saidCraig.
"We intend to be Number One again this year,” added
Hughes. Entry fees will be S100 per player for ama-
teurs, and more entries are expected this year than in
the past. Many prizes are being donated for winners.
