The Dean Goss Dinner
Theatre will soon host Mrs.
Carol Kelly, winner of this
week’s Creative Cooking
contest. Mrs. Kelly will
enjoy the popular play,
"Opal’s Baby," now playing
at the theatre.
The Southwest area resi-
dent says the curry flavor-
ing in her casserole makes it
an instant dinner or lunche-
on success. It may be
prepared ahead of time for a
luncheon or buffet by
combining the ingredients,
freezing it, and then
allowing extra time to heat
the dish up.
CHICKEN BROCCOLI
CASSEROLE
4 chicken breasts (stewed
tender)
2 pkgs. broccoli (boiled 5
minutes, Chopped broccoli
may be used)
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 tsp. curry powder
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup bread crumbs
Place layer of chicken in
casserole, then layer of
broccoli. Combine other
ingredients and put over
chicken and broccoli. Cover
top with bread crumbs or
corn flake crumbs. Use a
shallow pyrex dish. Bake 30
minutes at 350 degrees
(Serves 8).
